About this market
Central Norway sits on the northern side of Norway's internal transmission constraint, and that line is worth about 60% of the price: Trondheim averages €40.3/MWh while Oslo averages €64.5 and Bergen €59.7. The split between the cheap north and the export-exposed south is the defining feature of Norwegian prices.
