About this market
Oslo is a consumption zone with little generation of its own, so its price is imported from the hydro zones around it. It belongs to the southern Norwegian group, which is exposed to the subsea cables running to Germany and Britain — and it shows: Oslo averages €64.5/MWh while Trondheim, on the other side of Norway's internal transmission constraint, averages €40.3.
