About this market
Greece has the widest gap between midday and evening of any market we track. Over the last three months the average price between noon and 4pm was €42/MWh; between 7pm and 9pm it was €200 — nearly five times higher, and it happened on 91 of the 92 days measured. Solar covers the middle of the day and gas sets the price the moment it stops.
